With the AROMA(R) 20-Cup (Cooked) SmartCarb(R) Rice Cooker & Multicooker, the convenience of cutting carbs couldn’t be easier!
Our latest innovation, the SmartCarb(R) function, reduces up to 30% of carbohydrates by using a stainless steel carb-reducing pot and a specially designed program. Rice is steamed to perfection while starchy water drains below and reduces carbohydrates in rice. With 8 preset one-touch functions, this cooker can prepare up to 20 cups of any variety of rice and whole grains, steam fish and vegetables, Sauté-then-Simmer(R); and make hearty soups and your favorite slow cook recipes. And when the cooking is done, the inner pot and all accessories remove for easy cleanup in the dishwasher.

PARTS IDENTIFICATION

CONTROLS/FUNCTIONS: (Power button), Delay Timer, (-)/(+), Keep Warm, White Rice, Brown Rice, Soup, Sauté-then-Simmer(R), SmartCarb(R) (White Rice or Brown Rice), Steam, Slow Cook (Low or High), Oatmeal.

BEFORE FIRST USE

HOW TO CLEAN

TROUBLESHOOTING:

Rice is too dry/hard after cooking.
– Depending on how dry your rice is, add 1/2 to 1 cup of water and stir thoroughly. Close the lid and select the White Rice function once more. When the cooker switches to Keep Warm, open the lid and stir the rice to check the consistency. Repeat as necessary until rice is soft and moist.

Rice is too moist/soggy after cooking.
– Use the serving spatula to stir the rice to redistribute the bottom (moist) part of the rice as well as release excess moisture. Close the lid and allow the cooker to remain on Keep Warm for 10-30 minutes as needed, opening the lid and stirring periodically to release excess moisture.
